ReclaimAI is an intelligent operating system for the calendar, helping to automate and defend the schedules of busy product leaders, engineers, managers and their teams. At the heart of our mission is the idea that priorities -- not random meetings -- should guide your workweek, and your time should be oriented around the stuff that really matters. Reclaim syncs your calendar with your priorities, automatically blocks time on your calendar, and provides analytics and workflows for the entire team that keeps everyone on track.
We’re a small, scrappy group of people with a strong bent toward failing fast, simplicity and commonsense product design. We don’t like to muddy the waters with fluffy words or lofty jargon, and we believe in a healthy separation of work and life.
We offer full health, dental, and vision benefits to all employees as well as competitive salary and generous equity package. We keep flexible hours and are remote-friendly.
We’re looking for a Lead Designer to help craft a brilliant user experience for Reclaim users. You’ll be responsible for defining design requirements based on user feedback and strategic needs, iterating quickly, and presenting complex data structures in an elegantly simple way. The ideal candidate is adaptive, collaborative, possesses deep user empathy, can context-switch easily between small tweaks and “blue sky” features, and has an eye for seamless user workflows + aesthetically gorgeous product design. Also, if you’re somebody with a solid skillset around branding, illustration, and graphic design, that’s a major plus!
Lead all design efforts for Reclaim across mobile, desktop, and web UIs
Generate design mockups and scalable assets in service to the product
Build on an existing design system and evolve it to create standardization of components and styles
Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into clear designs
Meet with users to identify needs and pain points
Collaborate with the Reclaim engineering team to iterate and incrementally ship stellar product features
Occasionally work on branding, storefront site design, and illustrations / graphics
2-3+ years of product design experience, ideally on team-oriented productivity applications
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-change environment
Deep expertise in prominent design platforms (Figma, Webflow, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
Clear communication skills around tradeoffs and design philosophy
An eye for aesthetically beautiful product design and powerful user workflows
Some experience with building products that integrate across multiple services
Ability to work with users directly to review designs and understand requirements
A “ship-to-learn” mentality — and a mindset that we won’t truly know what users need until they start using it
Bonus: some graphic design, branding, and illustration skills
