Customer support & onboarding
More info
Reclaim provides responsive customer support, hands-on onboarding, and direct access to product experts to help teams get value quickly and continuously. ActivTrak’s support experience is more limited and plan-dependent, with less direct guidance for complex rollouts and ongoing optimization.
Workforce analytics & dashboards
More info
Reclaim provides workforce dashboards that model how employee time is allocated and interrupted across meetings and focus work—quantifying capacity, fragmentation, and overload patterns across teams and cohorts. ActivTrak delivers workforce productivity dashboards centered on application usage and activity metrics rather than workload and capacity modeling.
Company, department & team reporting
More info
Reclaim supports rollups across company, department, and team views, enabling leaders to compare time allocation, capacity, and workload balance across the organization. ActivTrak supports team and group views, but centers its analytics on activity and application usage rather than modeling how time constraints and scheduling patterns impact productivity.
Time tracking breakdown reports
More info
Reclaim breaks down time in ways leaders can act on—meetings, focus time, free time, and workload balance—so teams can understand capacity, identify time loss, and adjust norms. ActivTrak breaks down time primarily by application and website categories, which shows where activity occurs but not how schedules limit productive work.
Meeting cost & productivity impact
More info
Reclaim breaks down meeting time by total hours, meetings per day, meeting-heavy days, and meeting types—making it easy to identify unnecessary meetings and reduce meeting cost. ActivTrak reports time spent in meetings as part of broader activity analytics, without showing which meeting patterns drive overload or time loss.
Time in meetings report
More info
Reclaim reports total time in meetings across individuals, teams, and cohorts—making it easy to compare meeting load, spot outliers, and track progress as meeting norms change. ActivTrak includes meeting time within broader productivity metrics, without providing dedicated views for managing meeting load at scale.
Meeting type time analysis
More info
Reclaim analyzes time spent by meeting type to help leaders understand which meeting categories drive overload and where to adjust norms. ActivTrak does not provide calendar-native meeting-type modeling.

ActivTrak vs. Reclaim: What G2 users are saying
Reclaim
✅ Positives:
  • "The Reclaim team is incredibly helpful and responsive. They were able to work with my InfoSec team so we could get the product set up for internal use (we are in healthcare, compliance is top of mind) within a week of certification. Amazing!" (Source).
  • "Tracking both my own and my team's productivity has been very helpful. It supports my growth as I prepare for upcoming projects and consistently boosts productivity." (Source).
🔴 Negatives:
  • "The free version only does two calendar links. I have several, so it was obnoxious to play with it to make it work. I figured it out, and eventually, I bought it. That is when It got really good! Combining the other calendars made all the difference in the world. It is worth the effort, but it does take some doing to get it right." (Source).
  • "I don't think of this as a downside. You need to actively manage how it looks at events and prioritizes your day. There’s a little learning curve to understand how it moves/adjusts calendar meetings based on priorities, settings, hours, etc." (Source).
ActivTrak
✅ Positives:
  • “I like how much time you can see your usage on certain apps, websites, etc. It allows me to manage time better and get an overall of how much I'm working throughout the day.” (Source).
  • “When it worked, the alerts were great to give you a heads up on activity that needed to be addressed and taking screenshots of the behavior. Insights (if we could have afforded them) seem like they would have been great. It was easy to launch and get put onto our employees computers.” (Source).
🔴 Negatives:
  • "Customer service is one of the worst I've experienced. Very responsive when trying to sell you or get you to renew but abandon you as soon as there are any issues. Most companies continue to evolve their product, which they did add features but any that would really help with productivity or you to even digest the data you had to pay extra for every individual feature. They invested nothing into fixing the alarms that would break constantly, addressing the speed of the program itself (it was so slow I actually had to hire a part time employee to monitor and digest the data so we could coach on productivity). The data classifications were not smart, you would have to re-classify every day even if you had already classified that URL or item before." (Source).
  • "They bill you for a year before you even get to see the contract for the product, NO REFUNDS for any reason. NO support available and sales persons are hard core obnoxious. This is a software that you have to embed but if you don’t trust the company then it just will not work. When you put in the cancellation as per the MSA the sales person puts a claim against your company with the BBB." (Source).

Employee-friendly workforce analytics

ActivTrak focuses on visibility into employee activity and application usage, relying on behavioral signals like app usage and idle time to assess productivity. Reclaim’s employee-friendly Workforce Analytics analyzes how work is structured using calendar-based signals—such as meetings, focus availability, fragmentation, and break time—rather than monitoring employee behavior or device activity. This approach highlights where schedules constrain productive work, helping organizations improve how time is used without tracking individual behavior or eroding trust.

Measure whether changes are improving productivity

ActivTrak provides insight into productivity and activity trends, but does not offer tools to activate or manage time-optimization initiatives. Reclaim enables organizations to put policies like meeting reductions, focus-time programs, and scheduling norms into practice—and then evaluate their impact by tracking how meeting load, focus availability, fragmentation, and productive capacity change over time.

Turn workforce insights into scalable, automated action

ActivTrak shows how time is spent, but does not help employees act on those insights day to day. Reclaim gives every employee an AI assistant that continuously helps them protect focus time, manage meetings, and rebalance work as priorities change—applying workforce analytics directly through scheduling so productivity improvements scale naturally across teams without manual enforcement or one-off initiatives.

“Reclaim is one, if not my all-time favorite piece of real productivity software outside of the Google Workspace suite”
