About
Claude handles multi-step reasoning, trade-offs, and long instructions well. Reclaim handles focus protection, meeting negotiation, and writing changes back to Google Calendar and Outlook. Connect them through MCP and a single conversation can end with a real change on your calendar.
Read-only tools answer immediately. Anything that touches your calendar lands in Preview Mode first. You decide which tools auto-approve and which need a click from Claude's per-tool permission controls.
Top Benefits
- Per-tool permissions, you set the rules: Set each Reclaim tool to Auto-approve, Needs approval, or Block from Claude's connector settings.
- Read-only answers, write-time approvals: Schedule questions answer instantly. Calendar writes always land in Preview Mode first.
- Works everywhere Claude works: Claude Desktop, Claude web, and Claude Code share the same MCP connection.
- Strong reasoning, real outcomes: Long instructions, trade-offs, and multi-step planning end with a real change on your calendar.
What you can do
- Ask Claude to view, analyze, or summarize your week
- Find meeting times across attendees from chat
- Protect focus blocks and defragment your week with one prompt
- Create, move, reschedule, and cancel events
- Preview every schedule change before it commits
- Works in Claude Desktop, Claude web, and Claude Code (terminal)
How to connect
- In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors (or Connected Apps).
- Click Add custom connector and enter the Reclaim URL: https://mcp.reclaim.ai.
- Complete the Reclaim OAuth flow and click Allow access.
- Set per-tool permissions (Auto-approve for read-only, Needs approval for write actions).
- Start chatting. Calendar writes appear in Preview Mode for approval.
Claude Code users can run `claude mcp add -t http https://mcp.reclaim.ai` from the terminal instead. Claude's per-tool permissions let you tune the connector to your team's risk tolerance — default to Needs approval for any tool that creates or modifies calendar events.
