About You
We are looking for an experienced blog writer with SEO and social media skills to join our marketing team. Your primary responsibilities will be developing 1-2 high quality blog posts a week and managing our social media accounts, with gradual exposure to new content development opportunities including website, email, help docs, and ad content.
- You understand the value of Reclaim.ai, the personas it solves problems for, and are excited about the product! This is a must for anyone who would step into this role.
- You are a natural writer who loves to take on challenging topics, and use a research-driven approach to developing compelling content.
- You are comfortable writing to match Reclaim's fun-but-credible personality across both blog content and social.
- You are excited to build a career at an energetic startup, with an eagerness to learn and develop your skillset across a wide range of marketing activities.
- You are creative, self-motivated, and tech-savvy, and comfortable communicating new ideas and experimenting without fear of failure.
- You're able to pick up new skills quickly, and adapt well to feedback on your work.
What You’ll Do
- Research, develop, publish, and promote 1-2 blog posts each week
- Update existing blog content with new insights
- Draft and publish a monthly marketing newsletter
- Send bi-weekly blog updates to subscribers
- Interview users and external experts to generate your blog content
- Review, polish, and help expand Reclaim help docs
- Manage social media platforms and explore new opportunities
- Engage and support Reclaim users and fans across social
- Identify and engage key influencers and communities in our space
- Bring back new trends identified in content research and social
- Track content, social, and SEO performance metrics
Skills You'll Need
- 2+ years experience as a blog writer in a professional setting
- Ability to fully draft and finalize 2 blog posts every week
- Social media smarts and savvies
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Strong research skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Some SEO experience (we'll teach you more!)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field (preferred, not required)
Bonus
- Experience working with startups
- Experience working remotely
- Experience writing about productivity, scheduling, and/or time management
- Experience working on self-service SaaS products
